As The Geeky Loft has evolved I have found it to be completely focused on the gaming side of my life.  With that said I will continue to post amazing gaming related posts on The Geeky Loft but I have also created a new blog called Mind of an Art Geek that will focus more on the other aspects of my life like College/Art/Music/Books and my somewhat lacking social life since I found Tumblr :D Feel free to check it out at ArtGeekery.Tumblr.com

I work tomorrow and my new college semester starts on Monday… guess who just got the flu?!? Me!!! This is gonna be such a fun week!

I finally have the Internet again!! I have been living in my new apartment for about a month and Charter just left so I officially have internet!  I’m so happy I could cry!

And I’m on my semester break so this will be me for the next week non stop!

Ya… I should really be working on homework right now but instead I have find myself randomly exploring Tumblr and Stumbling around the web… I swear this has become some sort of epidemic with me lately… Now i must somehow force myself away from this site to write a research paper and do some story boards… and finish my stuff for my presentation… all of which is due tomorrow… at 10 am… Oh Procrastination thou art my mortal enemy!!!

Today I realized that since I started my job at a library back in July, I subconsciously learned to say the alphabet backwards… it kinda made my day lol

Well… It looks like I didn’t plan my time very well… Good News: I did all of my reading and forum questions for my Sociology class tomorrow and I just got done Editing 15 photos for a group project in my Visual Storytelling Class.  Bad News: It is now 2:18 and I still have an entire Sociology Midterm Paper to write along with a movie review I was supposed to do… Looks like I am officially screwed… Also coffee… This is going to require LOTS of coffee…

Well my fortune cookie yesterday said i would “do something unusual tomorrow”.   I’m not sure if it actually meant I was supposed to do something unusual or if I was going to experience something unusual but… well I sure as hell experienced something.  It is 10:30PM I am sitting at the computer working on some homework when all of the sudden I started hearing yelling outside a few houses down and I could see a few people arguing. Next thing I know there are three cop cars, they have to break up a fight and then some guy got tackled down and put into a cop car so ya… I would say that this counts as “Unusual”… 

It is officially 5 AM and I have yet to fall asleep… To much excitement in one day I guess, all I know is I will be surviving primarily on coffee tomorrow!  Hopefully I will be able to stay awake for class tomorrow… I’m so excited about being able to sign my lease tomorrow, but now is time for bed… that is if 4 hours to sleep actually counts as going to bed… hopefully I will fall asleep before the crickets on crack come out… anywho good morning/night y’all!  

Well after months of searching I am going to look at an apartment tonight and its actually in my price range! Anywho Hopefully all will go well and I will be able to move up to Madison so I don’t have to commute an hour each way for school anymore!
